37 yr old photographer/visual artist born in Lisbon, Portugal and slowly living in Ericeira.

With a background in fine arts and a degree in photography, Anna's distant aesthetic has touched many and she's considered as one of the first of a new era of artists using 35mm as her canvas to explore her ideas and vision.

After more than a decade of collaborating with Vogue, Metal, CG, and other big names in the industry, documenting fashion weeks and helping brands communicate their brand positioning with a unique aesthetic approach, her work was also seen at Dazed and Confused as a name to follow.

Between developing long-term personal projects (#book and #exhibitions) she's pursuing challenging assignments while rediscovering her love for painting.

"I long to tell stories, to create narratives - above all my primary purpose is to communicate, to connect - to make people (readers/ buyers/ collectors/ followers / you name it ...) feel something about (and relate with) my work.

Some call it the composition, others style, I prefer describing it as my narrative. Almost 20 years later since I first started studying photography (and knowing photography will always be a part of who I am as an artist and a medium of choice) I still long for connecting and, after so many years of documenting my vision of the world through photography (as a sincere and straight forward medium), now I also long to recreate that vision - and that’s probably why abstract painting naturally comes to me - a newly discovered medium, that allows me to be consistent with my narrative, to create a connection but, with a newfound form of freedom, as a visual artist.

From now on, I'm not only documenting what I see, I'm also reimagining it.”
